Dog Licences
Annual dog licences may be purchased at the following locations in Delta:
- Delta Municipal Hall - Finance Department: 4500 Clarence Taylor Crescent
- Delta Community Animal Shelter: 7450 - 80th Street
- North Delta Recreation Centre: 11415 - 84th Avenue
- Tsawwassen Animal Hospital: #1 - 1835 56th Street
- Pets-N-Us Tsawwassen: 1304 - 56th Street
- Huff Animal Hospital: 1512 - 56th Street
- Trenant Park Pet Clinic: 5076C - Ladner Trunk Road
- Pets-N-Us Ladner: 5076 - 48th Avenue
- Pet Solutions Supermarket: 6447 - 120th Street
NOTE: For residents on Tsawwassen First Nation lands, please be advised that you must purchase your dog tag(s) from the TFN Administration office
Annual dog licences are due by January 1st and are valid for the calendar year.
- Neutered male dog or spayed female dog: $35
- Unneutered male dog or unspayed female dog: $55
- Aggressive/Dangerous dog - Spayed/Neutered: $210
- Aggressive/Dangerous dog - not spayed or neutered: $510
- Replacement of lost or destroyed licence tag: $5.
A $10 discount is applied to licences paid for by February 28th Licence Fees. Dog owners may be required to provide proof that the dog has been spayed or neutered. Failure to have a dog licence if you are checked by an Animal Control Officer may result in a $150 fine. Please inquire if you have recently moved to Delta, and your dog has a valid licence in another BC municipality.
Dog licence renewals can be done through the internet using Delta's Online Dog Licence Renewal Payment.
